My lifelong relationship to nature is at the very core of my being. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the animal kingdom and the mysteries of nature. This early passion led me towards a degree in wildlife conservation. A 20 + year career journey then ensued with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, where it became my civil servant mission to conserve, protect, and enhance wildlife, plants, and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. I have recently early retired from government work to re-adjust my soul’s purpose of serving Pachamama and I will now be forever co-creating a heal-by-nature practice, providing spiritually oriented guided hikes, tours, workshops, retreats, and vision quests to natural and cultural sacred treasures in and around the Washington DC area. My current passion is to create unique experiences through tours of the many sacred sites of Peru. I’m inspired by love for my Peruvian wife, a free-spirited daughter, two feline companions, and a wonderful community of like-hearted beings.
I had my first initiations into the world of shamanism via the Earth Quest series written by the late spiritual teacher Kenneth Meadows. This book knowledge eventually led me to seek healing and teachings from a shaman when I lived in Maryland, subsequently attending shamanic training programs. Back in 2018, I followed my intuition based on a strong connection I had with maestro Don Oscar Miro-Quesada and the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition’s past, present, and future lineages. I now see this community as my arrival back home to a practice of planetary healing via this multicultural nature-honoring tradition.
